Brewers collaborate to support wildfire and hurricane recovery
When wildfires struck and Hurricane Helene hit, our teams in the United States rallied behind two brewing community initiatives to support local disaster recovery efforts.
In Los Angeles, we joined the ‘We Love LA’ collaboration after the devastating January 2025 wildfires. The initiative grew into a multi-state effort, with participating breweries brewing a signature ‘We Love LA’ beer and donating proceeds to the wildlife relief fund.
To help maximise the impact of these efforts, we provided essential brewing ingredients at reduced or no cost, lowering production expenses so more money could flow to the people who needed it.
On the opposite coast, we supported the Higher Calling Beer Collaboration in North Carolina, following Hurricane Helene. By donating key brewing ingredients for a collaborative recipe, we helped breweries across the region raise funds for small businesses affected by widespread infrastructure and economic losses.
